Region 1 - A butcher got some nice cut of meat from his employer after his RFA was settled three (3) days after filing.

 

Jordan Rellera, a resident of Lioac, Naguilian, La Union, was a butcher for two years at the Baguio Branch of Meat World, with main office at Navotas, metro Manila. The said Branch has four (4) employees including Mr. Rillera.

 

On January 11, 2012, he brought his issues of non-payment of his 13th month pay and non-issuance of Training Certificate. SEADO Corpuz had set the initial conference on January 17, 2013, 9:30 am at the RCMB1 conference room.

 

On January 14, 2013, SEADO Corpuz made contact with Ms. Rose Balina, Area Manager of Meat World at Baguio, to inform him about the issues and the set meeting on the 17th.

 

Less likely to have happened, the conversations that transpired during this phone encounter between SEADO Corpuz and the Area Manager has turned out to be the settlement point of the issues Mr. Rillera have brought to this Office.

 

He has requested SEADO Corpuz to inform the requesting party that the claims are ready for pick-up at their central office anytime. The Certificate of Training will be on his account to request it from the company who conducted the said training.

 

Mr. Rillera got home with P7, 200.00 on his pocket for his 13th month pay on the 16 January 2013.
