Ilocos LMC Practitioners to convene

2013 Area-Wide Seminar Ready to Roll                                                       April 19, 2013

The Ilocos Region Conflict Administration and Resolution Ensemble (I-CARE), Incorporated, Region 1's LMC practitioners' association, in partnership with the National Conciliation and Mediation Board Regional Branch 1, has set the stage for the 2013 AREA-WIDE SEMINAR.

 

"I-CARE, Inc. cares," said by its president Engr. Ariel V. Gapasin. "The association is geared towards leading its member companies towards a culture of excellence in the realm of industrial peace."

 

The said event will be held on April 30, 2013 at the Coconut Grove Beach Resort, Paringao, Bauang, La Union. The region-wide activity goes with the theme "Worker and Workplace Enhancement for Sustained Industrial Peace."

 

"It is imperative that we keep an eye on the needs of our labor sector and giving equal attention to the working conditions they are in," Engr. Gapasin added.

 

Magna Carta for Women, DOLE D.O. 18-A and latest DOLE issuances and updates are among the things to be discussed during the said seminar with the inclusion of latest Supreme Court decisions and jurisprudence.

Occupational safety and health standards will also be put into view for discussion with sharing of OSH practices courtesy of Team Energy Corporation - Sual Power Plant. I-CARE officials also managed to invite people from ECC and SSS to update participants about their latest program developments.

 

"We make sure that our clients make the most and have the best in this event," RCMB1 OIC Director Helena R. Flores said. "We advocate industrial peace. And we make sure we make our point in an event like this."
